Franklin Cuffy and two other inspectors have been named online in a part of an investigation which involves Inspectors from Economic Affairs shaking down Boardwalk vendors.
This is old news, there’s a reason that the Boardwalk is 99% foreign, and few working there are legal in St Maarten.
It is easier to shake down the foreigner or illegal, so most local small businesses, and the ‘small man’ are locked out of the Boardwalk.

They HATE locals on the boardwalk like me, who document the craziness and shakedowns going on at the Boardwalk.
Of course there is a lot more to this story, it’s been going on for a long time now.
Locals are called lazy, complainers when the complain about being a minority EVERYWHERE in their own country.
But it’s our own local people doing it to.
It’s easier to bribe the Indian or Chinese because they come from a system of bribes-
and it’s easy to hold work permits, and residency permits over a foreigners head- but NOT a local..
